New York Giants 2016 preseason schedule: Giants will face AFC East teams

The NFL announces the preseason schedule, which means football must be inching closer.

The Ben McAdoo era as head coach of the New York Giants will begin with preseason games against the four teams from the AFC East the NFL announced today. The league released the schedule of preseason opponents league-wide.

The Giants will have home preseason games against the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, and will visit the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.

The schedule is as follows:

Preseason Week 1 (Fri., Aug. 12) -- vs. Dolphins

Preseason Week 2 (Aug. 18-21) -- @ Bills ... the exact date is yet to be determined

Preseason Week 3 (Sat., Aug. 27) -- @ Jets

Preseason Week 4 (Thurs., Sept. 1) -- vs. Patriots

Times of all games are yet to be determined.

The regular-season schedule will include a trip to London to face the Los Angeles Rams. Here is what that looks like:
