2016 NFL Draft: Day 3 TV schedule, channels, draft order, Giants' pick, more

What will the Giants do on Day 3 of the 2016 NFL Draft?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The final day of the 2016 NFL Draft is here, with rounds 4 thru 7 beginning at noon ET. The New York Giants have three picks Saturday in rounds 4, 5, and 6. They do not have a seventh-round pick as they traded that to the Pittsburgh Steelers last year for punter Brad Wing.

Day 2 of the draft was much better than Day 1, at least in terms of public perception. The Giants' first round selection of cornerback Eli Apple was widely panned. Twenty-six percent of voters in our poll gave the pick an "F,' and 20 percent gave it a "D." Draft analysts gave the pick mixed reviews.

That wasn't the case with the selections the Giants made on Friday. Fifty-seven percent (1,434) of the 2,517 voters in our poll gave the second-round selection of Oklahoma wide receiver Sterling Shepard an "A." Fans also approved of the third-round selection of Boise State safety Darian Thompson, with 33 percent (723) of 2,184 voters giving the pick an "A," and 46 percent (995) giving the pick a "B."

Draft analysts also endorsed the work done by General Manager Jerry Reese and the Giants on Friday.

The most glaring concerns for the Giants entering Day 3 appear to be on the offensive and defensive lines, as well as perhaps linebacker. Could running back and tight end also be in play? What will the Giants accomplish on Saturday? Will fans and draft analysts love it or hate it?

Keep it right here as we all find out together.
