The defensive line remains the overwhelming focus of mock drafts for the New York Giants. Our mock draft database now includes 34 mocks, with 23 of those (67.6 percent) selecting a defensive lineman for the Giants with the 10th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

The interactive pie chart above shows the breakdown of players selected. Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson is the player most often mocked to the Giants, as he was the pick in seven of the mocks. Oregon defensive end DeForest Buckner was the pick five times. Eastern Kentucky defensive end Noah Spence and Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott were each chosen in four of our 34 mock drafts. Ohio State outside linebacker Darron Lee and Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah were chosen in three mocks.

Chris took a post-NFL Scouting Combine look at potential choices for the Giants at No. 10. With this data as a reference point, that is worth another look.

Our prospect profile StoryStream now includes reports on more than 30 players. If you missed any of those or need a refresher, give it a look.
