New York Giants' second-year offensive lineman Bobby Hart joined the "Big Blue Chat" podcast featured Pat Traina (Bleacher Report/Inside Football) and myself on Wednesday. Hart, expected to compete with John Jerry for the right guard job this season, said he was "honored" that co-owner John Mara mentioned him as one of the young players the team is hoping will step up in 2016.
"It's not necessarily pressure. It's just good to know that other people have the same expectations for you as you have for yourself," Hart said. "That's definitely something that means something from me coming from him, the great man that he is. .. It's definitely an honor to know that he said that."

Head coach Ben McAdoo was asked about Hart, a 2015 seventh-round pick, during his breakfast with reporters Wednesday at the NFL owners meetings.
"He's a young guy who's developing and he has some position flexibility, which is nice. He's a player that likes to play football, he gets ball, so that gives him an opportunity to be flexible," McAdoo said. "He's done a lot of work on himself physically to get in good condition. ... He's a guy that has some opportunity for growth."
