It wouldn't be draft season if every day didn't bring a new twist or turn to the narrative.
After the NFL Scouting Combine, Clemson Tigers defensive end Shaq Lawson became the overwhelming favorite pick in mock drafts for the New York Giants. That trend cooled slightly after the Giants re-signed Jason Pierre-Paul and signed Olivier Vernon to a record contract, but Lawson is still a popular selection.
Thursday, reports came out that Lawson was flagged my some teams to return to Indianapolis for a medical re-check on his shoulder.
Per sources, Clemson DE Shaq Lawson's shoulder was flagged at the combine, and he's on the list to go back to Indy for the medical recheck.

Lawson needed to play with a brace that apparently limited that arm's mobility.

Lawson's shoulder "popped out" during a 2013 game against Boston College and was "Popped back in" -- per Dabo Sweeny's post game press conference -- by a trainer during the game. If Lawson needs the brace to prevent his shoulder from dislocating, that would likely constitute a "Medical Red Flag".
