Wednesday is National Signing Day for college football programs around the country. Teenagers who are good football players will be fawned over by college coaches everywhere. Being a five-star recruit, though, doesn't guarantee success, as you can see by the list of New York Giants players below.
Only four players among Giants on the 2015 roster or injured reserve list were five-star recruits coming out of high school -- Landon Collins, Nico Johnson, Rueben Randle and Devon Kennard. Odell Beckham Jr. was a four-star recruit. Justin Pugh, Weston Richburg, and Victor Cruz were two-star recruits. Using the Rivals.com database for this research, it appears that Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie wasn't even ranked.
SB Nation has all of your National Signing Day news. Here are the rankings I was able to find for Giants players. A ranking for Eli Manning could not be found.
