If the weather outside near you is as cold as it is where I am (it's below zero degrees Fahrenheit in Syracuse, N.Y.,), then you're probably inside this Saturday. With that said, let's take a look at the NFC East to see what Big Blue's rivals are up to through our SB Nation NFL affiliates.
Eagles Headlines
New Eagles head coach Doug Pederson wants Sam Bradford back
Pederson also added that he believes Bradford, a free agent this offseason, can lead the Eagles to a deep playoff run. He said that Bradford indicated he would like to return to the City of Brotherly Love, but if he decides to head elsewhere, that the team has options on its roster to replace Bradford or will find a new quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft that can start immediately if they so choose.
Bennie Logan was one of the top run-stuffing nose tackles in the NFL
Per Bleeding Green Nation, nose tackle Bennie Logan was one of the most disruptive run defenders in the game.
Logan ranked second overall in "Run Stop Percentage," which is a Pro Football Focus signature stat that essentially tries to gauge meaningful tackles. So not just tackles where an offensive player runs through a defense and a guy finally brings him down, but instead a tackle where the defender made a good play. In other words, Logan was a run-stuffing force.
Donovan McNabb believes he's a Hall of Fame quarterback
In a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" thread, the former Eagles quarterback shared that he thinks his numbers speak for themselves and that he'll be headed to Canton, Ohio one day. He also added that he did not puke during the Super Bowl, that a hot dog is not a sandwich and that his security blanket on the field during the days was his tight end, Chad Lewis.
Cowboys Headlines
Jerry Jones rules the NFL
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been often criticized for his handling of his team, taking up the roles of owner and general manager. However, Jones has been one of the NFL's top visionaries for years and has built up a lot of respect over the years. In this piece, Blogging the Boys examines how Jones was one of the biggest reasons why the NFL has made its journey back to the Los Angeles market.
Take a look back to the days of Erik Williams
The offensive lineman was one of the main components to the Great Wall of Dallas, dominating as a right tackle even after getting into a life-threatening car accident in 1995.
Are the Cowboys the favorite to win the NFC East next year?
After a plethora of injuries this season, Dallas might be ready to strike back and wreak havoc in the division.
Redskins Headlines
Hogs Haven revisits their staff predictions for 2015
Only one of the writers predicted the Redskins would win the NFC East, and another was the only one to correctly predict the Denver Broncos winning the Super Bowl.
Preston Smith turns in impressive, strong season
The Redskins rookie linebacker finished second on the team with eight sacks, but still has more potential to tap into.
What current Redskins player would make the best general manager?
DeAngelo Hall is the longest tenured player on the Redskins, but it's wide receiver Pierre Garcon, who shared time with Hall of Fame executive Bill Polian in Indianapolis, who stands at the top of the list. Who on the Giants do you think would be the best GM in the future?
