Cornerback Janoris Jenkins will be inactive Thursday night when the New York Giants try to clinch a playoff berth at Lincoln Financial Field against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jenkins, who suffered a bruised back Sunday against the Detroit Lions, worked out on the field about three hours before the game in front of coach Ben McAdoo, GM Jerry Reese and strength and conditioning coach Aaron Wellman. The Giants then decided the safest course of action was for Jenkins, their Pro Bowl cornerback, to sit this one out.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Eli Apple will likely handle the outside corner duties, and Trevin Wade and Coty Sensabaugh will play inside.
Linebacker Jonathan Casillas, questionable with a knee injury, is active. The complete inactives are below. Kickoff is schedueld for 8:25 p.m. ET.
