That is a good sign for the Giants

Perhaps the most significant thing about the New York Giants’ injury list on Friday is the fact that Odell Beckham Jr. is not on it. Beckham, who said earlier in the week that he was about 85 percent, has been dealing with a hip injury suffered against the Baltimore Ravens.

Safety Darian Thompson (foot) will miss his sixth straight game Sunday when the Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles. Defensive end Kerry Wynn (concussion) will also miss the game.

Safety Nat Berhe, who hasn’t played since suffering a concussion Week 3 against the Washington Redskins, is listed as questionable despite not yet having been cleared for contact.

Backup quarterback Ryan Nassib (right elbow) is also questionable, leading to the possibility that Josh Johnson could be active as the backup quarterback for the first time.
