Monday Night Football: Eagles vs. Packers has meaning for Giants

The New York Giants have the second-best record in the NFC. Tonight’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) and the Green Bay Packers (4-6) will shed some light on how the future of the playoff race will go.

Both teams desperately need this win to stay relevant for the wild card race which is looking to be very tight in the NFC. The Giants have a solid lead, but that other wild card spot is entirely up for grabs. The hated Eagles will always be rooted against by Giants fans and a Eagles loss would definitely bode well for the Giants, even though the Packers are in the middle of the race as well. If the Packers were to win, the Giants would be a full three games above both teams.

Both teams are in a middle of a big slump. The Packers have lost four straight while the Eagles lost five of their last seven. Let's see who breaks their trend tonight.
