NFL fantasy football, Week 12: Sneaky starts

Last-minute help with your fantasy lineup

NFL: Chicago Bears at New York Giants

Crucial. Must win. Crunch time. Whatever cliché you prefer; it’s that time. Week 12 is somehow here, and you may just need one of the below players to make the playoffs. Godspeed and #bleedblue!!

New Orleans Saints DST

The Saints defense is still not good, but not as bad of late. Playing at home against the Rams and Jared Goff, I like the Saints as a top 10 streamer defense this week.

Wendell Smallwood, RB, PHI

Ryan Mathews is out with a sprained MCL, and Darren Sproles is going to play through a broken rib. Smallwood has gotten 17 and 13 touches over the last two games, and gets the suffering Packera defense at home on Monday night.

Will Tye, TE, NYG

Larry “the plumber” Donnell has turned into a healthy scratch, and Tye has earned the starting role. No one gives up more fantasy production to TE’s than the Browns.
