The New York Giants, even before Sunday night's game against the Green Bay Packers, have been struggling with injuries in the secondary. Safeties Darian Thompson and Nat Berhe are inactive. But now, Dominique-Rodgers Cromartie and Eli Apple leave the game early with groin injuries. Apple was dealing with a sore groin for more than a week now and this may be a cause for concern for future games. Apple and Cromartie will not return for the rest of the night.

Janoris Jenkins was also forced to leave the game for a couple of plays but has since returned.
Rodgers-Cromartie entered the game nursing a groin injury. He was active but did not play Monday against the Minnesota Vikings. Apple missed the game against Minnesota with a hamstring injury. They were replaced by Trevin Wade and rookie Michael Hunter.

(UPDATE: DRC has returned, with NBC saying the Giants gave out wrong information when they said he would not return).
