Running back Rashad Jennings will miss his third straight game Sunday when the New York Giants face the Green Bay Packers. Jennings, who has a left thumb injury, is on the team’s inactive list for the third week in a row.
Without Jennings, Orleans Darkwa, Bobby Rainey and Paul Perkins will once again split the load at running back.
Four Giants had been ruled out Friday with injuries — safety Nat Berhe and tight end Larry Donnell with concussion, offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse (calf) and safety Darian Thompson (foot).
Defensive tackle Robert Thomas and quarterback Josh Johnson are healthy scratches.
On the bright side for the Giants, cornerbacks Eli Apple (hamstring) and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (groin) are both active for Sunday’s game.
Green Bay will be without its two top cornerbacks, Sam Shields (concussion) and Damarious Randall (groin).
