Cornerback Eli Apple, who missed Monday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings with a hamstring injury, participated in practice Thursday on a limited basis for the New York Giants. Apple had not practiced since being injured against the Washington Redskins Week 3.

Expects to do team drills over weekend + be ready vs GB #Giants
Safeties Nat Berhe (concussion) and Darian Thompson (foot) continued to sit out practice. Marshall Newhouse (calf) continued to be sidelined, so Bobby Hart is likely to start at right tackle once again. Tight end Larry Donnell (concussion) also missed practice again, meaning Will Tye and rookie Jerell Adms are likely to be the team’s only available tight ends Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
On a Green Bay note, there have been reports that cornerback Sam Shields (concussion) won’t play against the Giants.
