As had been reported earlier in the day, running back Rashad Jennings will not play Monday night for the New York Giants. Jennings (thumb) will be inactive when the Giants face the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.
Offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse (calf) will also miss a second straight game. Safeties Nat Berhe (concussion) and Darian Thompson will not play, and neither will rookie cornerback Eli Apple (hamstring).
The other inactives will be defensive tackle Robert Thomas (illness) and quarterback Josh Johnson.
This means that cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, limited in practice all week, will play. Expect him to see limited action.
Bobby Hart will start at right tackle for Newhouse, and Orleans Darkwa will start for Jennings. Trevin Wade starts at cornerback and Andrew Adams at safety.
