Good morning, New York Giants fans! Here are some headlines to follow for your Friday morning.

Rashad Jennings ends season with hardware

Giants running back Rashad Jennings ended the season on a high note, winning the FedEx "Ground" Player of the Week Award for his performance in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jennings rushed 27 times for 170 yards and a touchdown last Sunday against Philadelphia, including 123 yards in the first half alone. Jennings had the best season of his career in 2015, rushing for 863 yards. His previous season-high in rushing yards was 733 in 2013 with the Oakland Raiders. Interestingly enough, Jennings didn't truly flourish until the final four games of the season, when he saw the lion's share of the carries. In the Giants' first 12 games of the season, Jennings rushed for 431 total yards, but in the last four games, the feature back gained 432 yards on the ground. In honor of Jennings receiving this award, FedEx will donate $2,000 in his name to the American Red Cross.

"The offensive line did a great job of getting body on body," Jennings, who had 89 yards on the ground in the first quarter alone, said after Sunday’s finale. "And, again, it comes down to finding ways to get those ugly yards and my offensive line gave the backs opportunities for that this game."
