The first day of practice for the Senior Bowl is in the books, or, at least, the parts that we're privy too. In addition to the on-field work, we got the height, weight, arm length, and hand-size for all the participants, and teams are starting to meet with prospects.

It should be noted that this is normal. At this point in the process the Giants leave the scouting to the scouts.

- Ohio State quarterback-turned-receiver Braxton Miller has drawn rave reviews from observers for his athleticism. He is still developing in the technical aspects of the receiver position, but he has already been called the best athlete on the property.
- If the name "Tajae Sharpe" is familiar, it's because he was at the Shrine Game last week. Despite having extremely small hands, he caught everything thrown to him. Reports say he's picking up where he left off.
- LSU DB Jalen Mills is being called one of the winners of today's practices.
- Say what you will about his tape on the field, but Shawn Oakman cuts an impressive figure. But for Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting, Ryan Nassib's little bro might be more impressive.
-Carl Nassib, DE, Penn State measured in at nearly 6'7, 273 pounds with 82 7/8 wingspan and a cut overall body type. Looked more impressive physically than Shawn Oakman.
- Eastern Kentucky -- formerly of Ohio State -- defensive end Noah Spence might have disappointed with his arm length, but on the field he impresses.
