There is nothing official yet in terms of the makeup of the New York Giants coaching staff under new head coach Ben McAdoo, but things appear to be taking shape. The latest report is that current Green Bay Packers assistant offensive line coach Mike Solari is a "strong candidate" to replace Pat Flaherty in that capacity for the Giants.
Solari, 61, is a veteran NFL coach. He was assistant offensive line/special teams coach for the Dallas Cowboys back in 1987-88. Solari coached tight ends for the San Francisco 49ers from 1992-1996 and returned to the 49ers to coach their offensive line from 2010-2014. He coached with the Kansas City Chiefs from 1997-2007, first as offensive line coach and the last two years as offensive coordinator. He also spent two years (2008-2009) as offensive line coach with the Seattle Seahawks.
No announcements have been made by the Giants and all assistant coaching positions show an unfilled on the teams' official website. Here, however, is the staff as we believe it to be at this point in time. Question marks will be placed next to spots where reports have indicated interviews, but not hirings.
