New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch told reporters Tuesday at the league meetings that he expects the team to have a new head coach "by the end of the week." That would indicate that the team's search will likely end once they talk with Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson later this week.

Jackson, who coached the Oakland Raiders in 2011, has also been courted by the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns. The Browns confirmed holding a second meeting with Jackson about their head-coaching vacancy on Tuesday. Jackson's meeting with the Giants is expected to take place Thursday morning, per most reports.

The Giants have interviewed Steve Spagnuolo, Ben McAdoo, Adam Gase, Teryl Austin, Doug Marrone and Smith in their search to replace Tom Coughlin. Gase was hired earlier in the week by the Miami Dolphins.
