All the feelings surrounding the beginning of the regular season, both excitement and trepidation, were put into sharp perspective Tuesday.
Former Giants safety Tyler Sash passed away at the all-too-young age of 27. He was a very popular and productive player for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, and still loved by the university's fanbase. Though Sash only played in 25 games for the Giants, he was a popular young player in the locker room, and his passing has hit his former teammates hard.
My prayers and condolences go out to @TSash family. This is heartbreaking. Feels like I am dreaming. I am literally hurting right now
