The New York Giants have officially announced the signings of six players to their 10-man practice squad. They are offensive linemen Adam Gettis and Emmett Cleary, wide receiver Julian Talley; defensive end Brad Bars; linebacker Cole Farrand; and defensive back C.J. Conway. The Giants have four more spots to fill.
Gettis played 13 games for the Washington Redskins in 2013. He was inactive for two games with the Giants in 2014. Talley has played in four regular-season games for the Giants over the past two seasons, but has not caught a pass. Cleary signed a reserve/futures deal with the Giants in January. Bars, Farrand and Conway are all rookies.
In case you missed the news, the Giants were awarded defensive tackle Louis Nix III and cornerback Asa Jackson off waivers on Sunday. Defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis and cornerback Mike Harris were dropped from the 53-man roster to make room for them.
Stay tuned for more roster moves as they happen.
