Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor to the New York Giants? Maybe that isn't crazy talk after all.
Sources telling me the Giants and Seahawks have discussed a potential Kam Chancellor trade. Tho the sides do remain far apart on a deal.

A three-time Pro Bowler, including each of the past two seasons, the 26-year-old Chancellor has been holding out from the Seattle Seahawks while seeking a new contract.
There have been reports that the Seahawks would consider trading Chancellor, a hard-hitting 6-foot-3, 232-pound strong safety, if they can't come to an agreement. There have also been some reports that Seattle is actually in the market to try to acquire safety help, so perhaps there is something to the idea that they would move Chancellor.
The Giants, of course, have gone through multiple options in their search for a player to pair with rookie Landon Collins. Could Chancellor and the 6-foot, 225-pound Collins actually play together? The Giants have said all along that they believe Collins has the ability to defend the middle of the field.
In all likelihood, nothing will come of this. Interesting, though, that the Giants have apparently been willing to consider the possibility.
