Good morning, New York Giants fans! Here are some headlines for the start of your weekend.

Steve Weatherford posts video thanks Giants

Former Giants punter Steve Weatherford, a fan favorite, said his farewell to Big Blue seated beside his family in a heartwarming video Friday afternoon. The Giants cut Weatherford on Friday, after reportedly being dissatisfied with his directional punting. Weatherford signed a fiv-year, $12,5 million deal after the Giants' Super Bowl victory in 2011, and had $4.4 million remaining on his contract. In a corresponding move, the Giants traded a conditional seventh round draft pick to the Steelers in exchange for punter Brad Wing, who's entering his second year in the NFL out of LSU.
