UPDATE: Add two more to the list of guys who won't play. Wide receiver Corey Washington and cornerback Trevin Wade will be held out of action.
No Corey Washington tonight. He hurt his shoulder on catch to end practice other day #Giants

Wade apparently has a back issue.

Eleven New York Giants are not expected to play Thursday night when the Giants face the New England Patriots, per a list released by the team. Those not expected to play are as follows:
DE Robert Ayers (ankle), LB Jon Beason (knee), OT Will Beatty (PUP), S Nat Berhe (calf), CB Chykie Brown (knee), PK Josh Brown (leg bruise), LB Jonathan Casillas (neck), WR Victor Cruz (calf), CB Chandler Fenner (hamstring), DT Cullen Jenkins (hamstring), S Jeromy Miles (groin).
The one surprise name on the list is veteran defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins. The veteran defensive lineman apparently has a hamstring injury. Per a source, the Giants expect Jenkins to be ready to play Week 1 vs. the Dallas Cowboys.
Several players on this list could see their chances to make the 53-man roster evaporate due to their inability to get on the field. Among those are Chykie Brown, Casillas, Fenner and Miles. Brown, Feller and Casillas have now missed several weeks of action. Casillas (neck) has practiced some but not been cleared for contact.
Nat Berhe (calf surgery) could be headed for season-ending IR. If the Giants believe he will be ready to play early enough, he could get the short-term IR designation or be carried on the 53-man roster as an inactive until he can play.
Josh Brown (leg bruise) is expected to be fine for the season opener.
