Good morning, New York Giants fans! Here are some headlines to follow for your Wednesday work day.

Flowers "optimistic about life"

Rookie left tackle Ereck Flowers has not practiced this week after re-injuring his left ankle against the Atlanta Falcons. Can he play Thursday night? Flowers said he is "optimistic about life," but coach Tom Coughlin is unsure whether or not Flowers will be able to play.

"Depends. Depends what OK means," Coughlin said. "Is he going to be able to function properly, does he know exactly what he's doing? This is a week where you can say anybody can go through a jog-through and can be prepared. I think he'll mentally be ready."

In Case You Missed It
