The New York Giants have to make roster cuts on Tuesday to get from 90 players down to 75. Let's make some predictions on which players could be let go.

Injured Reserve

S Bennett Jackson (torn ACL) -- This, of course, is a formality.

OL Brandon Mosley (back) -- Mosley hasn't practiced in a couple of weeks now. The Giants probably IR him rather than cut him.

S Nat Berhe -- As I wrote earlier, I feel badly about this one but I don't see how the Giants can hold a roster spot or use the short-term IR designation on him.

CB Chandler Fenner -- Hasn't played or practiced for weeks now due to a hamstring issue. Could also end up being waived/injured.

Inactive PUP

OT Will Beatty -- That's where he's headed, so just get it done. Doing it now also allows you to hold one more player to get through Thursday's preseason finale.

The tricky part of this is that the Giants have to get through the final preseason game on Thursday vs. the New England Patriots, and they have to do it without being in a position where key guys have to play a lot of snaps in that game. Which makes this round of cuts difficult because you have to balance the roster for Thursday.

WR Derrick Johnson -- Played one snap Saturday. Pretty good indication he won't stick around.

WR Juron Criner -- Too much depth at wide receiver for the Giants to keep him.

TE Will Tye -- Could be brought back for the practice squad.

RB Kenneth Harper -- Isn't making the team. Giants can get through Thursday with Orleans Darkwa and Akeem Hunt taking most of the snaps.

LB Cole Farrand -- Uani Unga has been more impressive. The Giants will probably also want a look at veteran Ashlee Palmer on Thursday.

DT Jimmy Staten -- He just got here. Let's hope he didn't take a lease on an apartment.

DE Jordan Stanton -- Seems like he's actually been outplayed by Brad Bars, who was added after camp started.

OL Michael Bamiro -- See explanation for Johnson above.

P Robert Malone -- Has punted as well, if not better, than Steve Weatherford this preseason. He isn't winning the job, though.

FB Nikita Whitlock -- I hate this cut. I'd like to see Whitlock find a spot on the roster, but don't see how. The Giants would likely hope to get him through to the practice squad.
