Tuesday has to be the day the New York Giants trim their roster from 90 players to 75. The deadline for doing so is 4 p.m. ET today. Which players will be dropped from the roster? Stay with us to find out.
The Giants, of course, began re-shaping their roster by signing safety Stevie Brown and cutting linebacker Victor Butler. While there are always surprises, this round of cuts doesn't figure to include many big names. Saturday's final cut from 75 to 53 could be a different story.
The other question at this time of year is which recently cut players will be added to the roster? The SB Nation roster cuts tracker has the full list of players who have been let go.
Roster cut dates and times
Tuesday, Sept. 1 4 p.m. ET -- Rosters must be trimmed to 75 players from current 90-man limit
Saturday, Sept. 5, 4 p.m. -- Rosters must be trimmed from 75 players to 53-man regular-season limit
Sunday, Sept. 6 -- 10-man practice squads can be formed
