NFL roster cuts 2015: Dates, times, news and rumors

The Giants 2015 roster cuts will be coming with the next week as the team gets down to 53 players for the regular season. We will be tracking all the news and rumors. Here are the dates and times when all the roster moves have to be made.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

NFL teams have to trim their rosters from the 90-man training camp limit to 75 players by Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. ET. The 53-man roster limit has to be reached by Saturday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.

As of now, your New York Giants have not made any roster moves. That isn't unusual. The New York Jets have already cut a number of players including ex-Giants James Brewer (OL) and Matt LaCosse (TE). The Philadelphia Eagles have also cut 12 players. The Giants tend to be more deliberate about their cuts.

The first 15 cuts are usually not that difficult to predict, although there can be some surprises. One for the Giants last season was when cornerback Charles James was let go in the first round of cuts. Watch the cuts for players who might be of use to the Giants. The biggest names and best players are unlikely to be available until the final cut from 75 to 53 players.

Feel free to mention names of players who you think can help the Giants if and when you see they have been cut by their respective teams.
