ESPN's John Clayton is reporting that the New York Giants are not one of the four "main teams" interested in free-agent guard Evan Mathis. Clayton said the Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers are the four leading contenders for Mathis.

A couple of other players some have considered options for the Giants along the offense line are now off the market. Former Atlanta Falcons guard Justin Blalock is retiring. Veteran center/guard Mike Pollak, with 52 career starts for the Colts and Cincinnati Bengals, is also retiring.

With Giants mandatory mini-camp this week we will see if the Giants make any adjustments along their offensive line. Throughout OTAs the starting combination was Ereck Flowers at left tackle, Justin Pugh at left guard, Weston Richburg at center, Geoff Schwartz at right guard and Marshall Newhouse at right tackle.

The Giants hold their first practice of mini-camp on Tuesday afternoon.
