If you were hoping to never hear the words Odell Beckham Jr. and "hamstring" again in the same sentence, sorry. Beckham sat out the New York Giants OTA on Monday due to what multiple media reports have referred to as a "sore" hamstring. Head coach Tom Coughlin reportedly said it is the "other" hamstring, not the one that sidelined him for four games a season ago.
Beckham, of course, missed nearly all of the offseason, preseason and training camp work with a nagging hamstring issue, then sat out the first four games of the regular season before going on to have a record-setting Rookie of the Year season.
Head coach Tom Coughlin said holding him out of the workout was "precautionary."
Tight end Larry Donnell also sat out practice with what is being called tendinitis in his Achilles tendon.

Coughlin reportedly said that defensive end Robert Ayers suffered a lateral ankle sprain during last week's OTA. He has not returned to practice.
Safty Nat Berhe (calf) is still not practicing.
Middle linebacker Jon Beason was not at practice as his flight from Charlotte on Sunday night was cancelled.
Steve Weatherford (car crash) did practice.
