For the New York Giants' NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles, this offseason has been dominated by a single overriding question:
"What is Chip thinking!?"
Well, a report came across the twitterverse Sunday evening that has everybody asking a new question:
"WHATCHA GONNA DO? WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN TEBOWMANIA RUNS WILD ON THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE, BROTHER!?"
Twitter was all a dither with news of Tim Tebow's workout for the Eagles last month, however Tebow left Philly without a contract. However, there was also the news that a contract could be coming in the future.
It seems the future is here
Philadelphia giving Tim Tebow a one-year contract, per source. Deal expected to be signed Monday, before Eagles' off-season program begin.

So while this news isn't exactly surprising, it is still certainly eyebrow raising.
What could this mean for the Eagles? Well, it could mean several things.
- Kelly is seriously looking for a deal to trade up for Marcus Mariota and is looking for another mobile quarterback to either run his offense while Mariota acclimates to the NFL, or back Mariota up.
- The Eagle's warp-speed offense is going to push the innovation envelope even further by running another play while Tebow releases the ball, effectively doubling their play speed.
- Chip Kelly wants to add another piece to his collection of disappointing first round quarterbacks to go with Mark Sanchez and Sam Bradford
- Or, there is the less humorous, and more realistic, option that Kelly recognizes Tebow's considerable character, leadership, and competitive drive and hopes those attributes would galvanize his team.
