The NFL veteran combine has helped a pair of former New York Giants get back into professional football. Running back Da'Rel Scott and defensive tackle Nate Collins have both found jobs, but not NFL jobs. Per Adam Caplan, both players have signed to play with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.

Scott was a 2011 seventh-round pick. His blazing speed never really translated into success with the Giants.

Scott carried 31 times for the Giants and gained 98 yards (3.2 yards per carry). He also caught 13 passes. Scott played five games for the Giants in 2013, but has not played in the NFL since.

Collins was on the Giants' practice squad in 2010. He has played in 27 NFL games with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears. Collins, like Scott, last appeared in the NFL in 2013.

Good luck to both former Giants as they cross the border.
