Good morning, New York Giants fans! As the countdown to the 2015 NFL Draft continues, let's begin another work week by checking the Giants-related headlines.

Beckham, Cruz planning TD celebration

Victor Cruz says he and Odell Beckham Jr. are planning a tandem touchdown celebration next season. That sounds like fun, except that those types of things usually draw penalty flags in the NFL.

"It’s gotta be something we can’t get flagged for, because I’m not trying to have Coach Coughlin kill us for something," Cruz said. "But it’ll be something kind of creative, so we’ll see. It’ll be good . . . We’re still wrapping our heads around it, but it’ll be fun."

Free agency ideas

This falls into the 'great minds think alike' category. Last week yours truly looked at five free agents who could help the Giants. Now Pat Traina, writing for Bleacher Report, has done the same. It is worth a look as Pat drops a couple of names that were not on my list.

Draft chatter

Bud Dupree and Ali Marpet, two players who could interest the Giants, have raised their stock as NFL Draft prospects, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com.

Former NFL player Matt Bowen writes that several players are 'generating buzz' leading up to the draft. Several of the players on Bowen's list could be on interest to the Giants.

Draft insider Tony Pauline recently examined defensive backs who seem to be moving up draft boards. Pauline writes that Utah cornerback/safety Eric Rowe "won't get past the 40th pick." The Giants, of course, have the 40th overall pick in the draft.
