Running back Da'Rel Scott is one of a handful of former New York Giants who will participate in the inaugural NFL Veteran Combine March 22.
Scott, a seventh-round pick by the Giants in 2011 out of the University of Maryland, carried 31 times for 98 yards and caught 13 passes in parts of three seasons. He also averaged 24.4 yards on 13 kickoff returns. He has not played in the NFL since the Giants released him during the 2013 season.
Defensive tackle Nate Collins was with the Giants practice squad in 2010. Safety Kyle Sebetic was with the Giants during training camp in 2014. Offensive lineman Stephen Goodin was with the Giants in 2012 and 2013, appearing in one game. Linebacker Dan Fox played two games with the Giants in 2014.
The Veteran Combine was established to give veteran free agents a forum to work out in front of NFL talent evaluators. It will be held in Tempe, AZ., at the Arizona Cardinals' practice facility.
