Is that where they should be?

Remember when we were talking recently about the New York Giants getting a surprising amount of respect despite back-to-back losing seasons? Well, Elliot Harrison of NFL.com apparently did not get the 'show respect to the Giants' memo.

In his season-ending post-Super Bowl power rankings, Harrison has placed the Giants at a bottom-feeding No. 24. He writes:

Tough season for Big Blue, no doubt, but considering the upheaval that the teams below are facing, No. 24 seems about right. This might be the last stand for the triumvirate of GM Jerry Reese, head coach Tom Coughlin and quarterback Eli Manning. That said, getting Victor Cruz back healthy will be a huge bonus. And the team should improve in Year 2 of Ben McAdoo's offense, at least in theory.

Admittedly, this ranking is more of a look back at 2014 than a look ahead to 2015. Still, it's a splash of reality to remind that the Giants have a lot to prove in 2015.
