Can the New York Giants right their listing ship next Monday against the Miami Dolphins and give themselves a chance to make a serious playoff run. Oddsmakers believe they can, as they are a slim 1-point favorite over the Dolphins in early odds.
The Giants, of course, have lost three straight games and fallen to 5-7. That is still good enough to give them a share of the NFC East lead, but the three-game losing streak means they will probably also need some help to win a division that they seemed to be in control of not that long ago.
In the Big Blue View power rankings, Chris placed the Giants No. 21, and told us that Team Rankings gives the Giants only a 24.7 percent chance of making the playoffs.
"We're still very much in it, but we've got to win some games and just got to start now," quarterback Eli Manning said today. "Got to start with Miami ... we can't get discouraged, we can't have any quit in us, we've got to keep fighting, continue to have a great week of preparation, practice, and then perform at a higher level on game day. Just get some energy back into the locker room, get some excitement and get that winning feeling back."
