Giants-Jets injury report: Revis Island closed; Justin Pugh looks set to go for Giants

It looks like you can pretty much cancel the idea that Darrelle Revis and Odell Beckham Jr. will match up Sunday when the New York Giants host the New York Jets. Revis, the Jets future Hall of Fame cornerback, did not practice agai on Thursday due to a concussion. Jets coach Todd Bowles admitted as much on Thursday.

Pugh: "No doubt" he is playing vs. Jets

Offensive guard Justin Pugh is optimistic about playing Sunday. Pugh has missed the past two games with a concussion.

More Giants Injury Updates

Right tackle Marshall Newhouse did not practice for  a second straight day due to a back injury. Head coach Tom Coughlin said Newhouse "may have some kind of shot or something." Rookie seventh-round pick Bobby Hart would play right tackle if Newhouse can't play.

Linebacker Devon Kennard, who has been the signal-caller for the Giants on defense, did not practice due to hamstring and foot issues. Safety Brandon Meriweather also did not practice due to a knee injury. Center Weston Richburg practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day
