The Detroit Lions are 4-7, but easily in the midst of their best stretch of football all season. Detroit, led by Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson, has won its last three games, including an upset victory at Lambeau Field against these same Green Bay Packers that started the Lions' current hot streak. Detroit is coming off a huge 45-14 win against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving in which Johnson caught three passes in the end zone.
As for the Packers, they've lost four of their last five and are now second in the NFC North, behind the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay also played on Thanksgiving, but did not have a similar result to Detroit, as the Packers were stymied at home by the Chicago Bears, 17-13. However, Green Bay does have Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center, who sports a 10-3 record as a starter versus Detroit, passing for 24 touchdowns to just five interceptions.
