EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Some good pre-game news for the New York Giants. Left tackle Ereck Flowers (ankle) and wide receiver Dwayne Harris (shoulder) will be active when the Giants take the field this afternoon against the Carolina Panthers. Both had been questionable. Running back Orleans Darkwa (illness) will also play.
The inactive list for the Giants is as follows:
LB Devon Kennard (foot), WR Geremy Davis, CB Jayron Hosley, OL Adam Gettis, OL Emmett Cleary, DT Markus Kuhn (ankle), DE George Selvie (concussion).
Barry Cofield, signed during the week by the Giants, will make his debut today. He will wear No. 98.
Jayron Hosley is an interesting inactive. He has been used as the backup for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who has often been rotating in and out of games. Trevin Wade, Trumaine McBride likely to fill that role.
Jay Bromley will start in place of Kuhn, and Mark Herzlich will start for Kennard.
