Odell Beckham Jr. was the only member of the New York Giants to win fan balloting for a spot in the 2016 Pro Bowl. Analytics web site Pro Football Focus is telling us there is another second-year Giant also deserving of the honor. Giants center Weston Richburg is a member of the PFF Pro Bowl Team.
Richburg was a second-round pick by the Giants in 2014. They, of course, selected Beckham in the first round. Richburg played out of position at guard last season due to injuries. He moved to his natural position at center this season and has excelled. He and Beckham were the only Giants named to PFF's team.
Richburg at center, Justin Pugh (first-round pick 2013) and Ereck Flowers at left tackle (first-round pick 2015) form an offensive line nucleus that the Giants should feel good about for years to come.
Does Richburg deserve to make the real 2016 Pro Bowl roster? Your thoughts, Giants fans?
