Head coach Tom Coughlin says the story of the New York Giants is going to be written "right here in the next four weeks." Truth is, the only realistic chance for that story to have a happy ending is for the Giants to defeat the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football (8:30 p.m. ET/ESPN). Both teams are 5-7. The Giants are 2.5-point favorites.
The Giants will be in a virtual three-way tie with the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins atop the NFC East if they win Monday night. If they lose, the NFC playoff picture looks bleak for them.
The Giants will once again be without linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring/foot). Offensive lineman Ereck Flowers (ankle), defensive end Robert Ayers (neck) and safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) are all questionable.
