Hakeem Nicks will be active Sunday for the New York Giants, the veteran wide receiver's first game with the team since the end of the 2013 season. Nicks, of course, was signed recently when Victor Cruz was placed on season-ending injured reserve. Nicks figures to play a limited role.
The Giants will be without guard Justin Pugh (concussion) and center Weston Richburg (ankle). The only active center on the roster will be Dallas Reynolds. No one else on the active roster has played the position. The healthy scratches for the Giants are wide receiver Geremy Davis, defensive end George Selvie and safety Cooper Taylor.
This also means that cornerback Prince Amukamara will be active after missing five games. Injured linebackers Uani 'Unga, J.T. Thomas and Mark Herzlich will all be active, as well.
