Tight end Larry Donnell (neck) will miss a third straight game for the New York Giants on Sunday when they face the Washington Redskins. Offensive guard Justin Pugh (concussion) will miss a second straight, and linebacker Mark Herzlich (quad) will also not play. Center Weston Richburg, dealing with a high ankle sprain, is doubtful.

The injury list leaves the Giants with a number of concerns heading into Sunday's critical game.

There is now concern that Donnell could miss the remainder of the season. A report earlier Friday indicated there was no long-term structural damage, but that Donnell could be sidelined for at least four more weeks. The giants have only six games remaining. Without Donnell, rookie Will Tye and young former Division II player Jerome Cunningham are the Giants' tight ends.

The offensive line is also an immediate concern. Pugh has simply not gotten better since sustaining the concussion against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers nearly three weeks ago. Richburg has practiced on a limited basis this week, but high ankle sprains are usually lingering ones that take several weeks to overcome. Without Pugh, John Jerry will start at left guard. If Richburg is unable to go, veteran Dallas Reynolds will play center.

Here is the full injury report.
