An NFL triple-header kicks off Thursday with the Detroit Lions hosting their annual Thanksgiving Day game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Game time is 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Eagles' season appears to be teetering on the edge of collapse. The 4-6 Eagles have lost two straight, quarterback Sam Bradford appears likely to miss a second straight game due to a shoulder injury, and now there is a report from Adam Schefter that the Eagles and coach Chip Kelly may part ways, with Schefter telling Sirius XM NFL Radio that "both sides are sick of each other" and Kelly may not return next season.
All of that, of course, is music to the ears of the NFC East-leading New York Giants.
Can the resurgent Lions, winners of two straight games to raise their record to 3-7, add to the Eagles' misery?
