If the 2016 NFL Draft were held today, and thank goodness it's not because we all want to spend the next five months arguing about things we have no control over, the New York Giants would have pick No. 21 in the current draft order.
Our man Chris offered what will be the first of many mock drafts last week, with the Giants selecting Ohio State wide receiver Michael Thomas. In that draft, of course, the Giants held the 26th position. At No. 21, perhaps the pick would have been different.
Long before we get to the draft, however, the Giants have more important matters at hand. Like trying to make the playoffs. They begin that quest Sunday in Landover, Md. against the Washington Redskins.
