Monday Night Football: Colts (3-4) at Panthers (6-0)

Week 8 wraps up with a battle between very different first place teams.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

We close the book on a wild Week 8 with a battle of division leaders when the 6-0 Carolina Panthers host the 4-3 Indianpolis Colts.

After a convincing victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, the receiver-less Panthers look like legitimate contenders. The Panthers have ridden a great defense and unorthodox, but MVP quality, play from Cam Newton to an undefeated record that they look to extend tonight.

Meanwhile the Colts are the best of a very not good AFC South. The Colts may also have found themselves in hot water with the League Headquarters after it has come to light that in addition to an injured shoulder, Andrew Luck was also hiding multiple fractured ribs. While that injury certainly goes a way toward explaining his poor play this season, keeping it off the injury report is a violation.

Use this as your open thread to discuss the action.
