Giants vs. Patriots 2015, Week 10: Giants (5-4) host Pats (8-0)

First-half live updates, score.

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Will the New York Giants enter their bye week and the final six-game stretch of 2015 off the momentum of an upset of the 8-0 New England Patriots, of will they fall short in their effort to do the unexpected?

We have, in varying ways, been asking the question all week. Do the Giants possess the Patriots' Kryptonite. SB Nation isn't buying. This afternoon, we get the answer.

Will Eli Manning, Tom Coughlin and Co. best Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the Patriots for the fourth straight time? Will the Patriots flex their considerable muscles and put the Giants in their place?

The Giants took an unexpected hit prior to the game when it was announced that left guard Justin Pugh would not play.

Cornerback Prince Amukamra (pectoral), wide receiver Victor Cruz (calf), linebacker J.T. Thomas (ankle), linebacker Uani 'Unga (neck) and tight end Larry Donnell (neck) won't play today for the Giants.

Our Giants-Patriots StoryStream has all of today's coverage. Our Giants-Patriots Hub Page has our coverage from the entire week.

Use this as your first-half open thread. Chris will be along at halftime with your open thread for the final two periods.
