[UPDATE: 5:52 p.m. ET: Justin Pugh is now listed with an "illness," not as part of the concussion protocol.]
Justin Pugh was a surprise addition to the New York Giants' pre-practice injury report on Wednesday. The team's starting left guard is undergoing the league's concussion protocol. Pugh, who played the entire game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, also had a concussion during training camp of his rookie season.
Other than Pugh, the injury report looks the same as it did last week. Notably, wide receiver Rueben Randle, who has been dealing with a hamstring issue, is not on the list. We will find out shortly from Tom Coughlin if there are any changes in the status of players like Prince Amukamara, Victor Cruz, Larry Donnell or J.T. Thomas. We will also update the injury list later today with the practice status of each player.
