We are a month away from the Fantasy Football playoffs, and with most leagues having a Nov.13 trade deadline, the waiver wire becomes even more critical moving forward. Last week's big time waiver pickups did not disappoint, as DeAngelo Williams and Jeremy Langford both put up RB1 weeks for teams that snatched them off of the wire. This week could be more of the same. Let's jump right into our waiver wire pickups for week 10. Enjoy!
Karlos Williams, RB, BUF
What big Karlos is doing this season seems unprecedented. I can't for the life of me remember a rookie backup RB who has produced at the level of Williams. The craziest part is that his best performances have come with LeSean McCoy playing ahead of him as the starter!! No matter what Shady's health is moving forward, Williams is an every week RB2/flex option, and a top five RB1 the next time Shady breaks a nail.
James Starks, RB, GB
Starks is back on this list again, and for good reason. One, he's one of the most talented backup RB's in the league. Two, and more importantly, FAT EDDIE IS TOO FAT!!! As a "heavy" draft of Lacy this year, he's been absolutely "crushing" my teams weekly performances. Green Bay has some favorable matchups coming up, beginning this week with Detroit at home. I'm not cutting Lacy yet, but I'm close. Starks is a high upside flex play at worst moving forward.
Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, TEN
Megatron Junior has been teasing us all year with would could be. He's huge, he's fast, and he can JUMP. Interim coach Mike Mularkey had his team playing hard in NOLA, and I think DGB and Mariota could become a lethal duo over the stretch run. It will be hard to trust their consistency, but monster/matchup altering games are on the horizon.
Michael Floyd, WR, ARI
The Cardinals get the Legion of Boom in Seattle off their bye week ... yuck. But somehow, even with three straight double digit fantasy weeks and Arians handing Floyd his starting job back over John Brown, Floyd is still available in 45 percent of Yahoo leagues. GO GET HIM.
Marcus Mariota, QB, TEN
Mariota looked like a salty veteran leading his team to an OT victory against Drew Brees in NOLA on Sunday. He has shown tremendous fantasy upside, and that's without using his legs! If you drafted Romo, Ryan, Stafford and company, grab the rookie and play the QB with best matchup from here on out.
