The New York Giants will be halfway through the 2015 NFL season after today's game against the New Orleans Saints. Follow along with us as we found out whether they end that first half on a high note with a 5-3 record, or a down note and a 4-4 mark. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET.

With the Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) and Washington Redskins (3-4) both having a bye this week, and the 2-4 Dallas Cowboys facing the Seattle Seahawks, the Giants have an opportunity to establish some breathing room for themselves atop the NFC East.

The Giants will yet another have a new look on defense today thanks to injuries.

This, of course, is your first-half open thread.
